The purpose of my digital portfolio is to showcase the different writing skills I have learned throughout my time at Millersville University. Once I am done with college, my plan is to work in education. Some skills I would like to showcase with this portfolio would be analysis of text/ interpretation, research skills, variety of subject matter, as well as history within English as a subject. My plan would be to distribute this portfolio to future employers in education. The goal is to show my analytical skills to be able to translate difficult text so that it is digestible for a young audience. By doing this I want audiences to be able to see the range of literature that I have the capability to interpret for young audiences. Also, I want people to see my interest in history within the subject of English through writings of etymology as well as historical context within English. Finally, I would like for audiences to see my love for the subject through samples that I have collected documenting my journey as a writer.
